Luxury Homes in Arizona

You usually need to look at custom homes if you are looking for luxury homes in Arizona, but there is a small development on the north side of Peoria that gets you all the luxury of a custom builder from a track home. The Laureates at Cibola Vista have fantastic homes. I know words like this are over used when talking about real estate (if you are searching the MLS every house is made to sound fantastic), but these homes really are impressive.

My husband and I went out to look at the models and I am determined to buy the Pebble Beach model as my next home. At the moment I am writing this there are 26 lots available out of a total of 58 home sites. (Rumor has is that Lennar is buying more land near 91st Avenue and Deer Valley roads to expand. If we find out more we will let you know.)

The Laureates have many standard features that you would typically only see in custom homes.

White Space The kitchen has standard stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets with crown molding and pull out shelves, and granite counter tops with back splash. Especially notice that stove...gas with 6 burners and a double oven, it's NICE. The granite back splash even runs all the way up the wall. You won't see that in most homes.

The interior of the homes come standard with laundry cabinets, low-E windows, a 75 gallon hot water tank, a security system, pre wire for speakers, and 2x6 construction. These are all nice, but I especially like the 12' ceilings, the 8' interior doors, and the brushed nickel fixtures. The grand daddy of all the standard features are the size of the windows. Look at them. >>

There are only a couple of standard features on the exterior worth mentioning, but they are features you would expect if you were looking at luxury homes in Arizona. The covered patio comes standard, as well as 8' garage doors, and the best thing...1/2 acre lots. The yard size is great, but would you expect anything less? Here are a couple shot of the back yard.

Now Let's Take a Look at the Floor Plans

The Pebble Beach

This model is my favorite. You can pull up the Pebble Beach floor plan in a separate window by clicking here. The layout is great, but you just get a nice feeling when you enter the home. As you enter there is an office to your right. It is sectioned off from the house just enough. Then you enter the living room with a dining area to your left. You immediately see the huge windows I spoke about and you get that "wow" feeling. This is exactly what luxury homes in Arizona are supposed to feel like.

Pebble Beach Model Home Straight ahead and to your left is the kitchen and nook area. In this photo you will notice the cherry cabinets, the crown molding, the granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, but mainly the nice large space that you would expect from luxury homes in Arizona. You can also see the nice light feature that follows the same line as the counter top.

All of the bedrooms are on this side of the house except for the master bedroom. The bedrooms are large for "kid's rooms". You can see that the rooms are set up with a double bed and still have plenty of room for a full hutch dresser and you don't feel cramped at all. I would say these rooms are about 50% larger than my kids' bedrooms.

One of the many unique features of the home is the jack and jill bathroom. It is unique because normally the door closes off the bathroom from the bedroom completely. You can see the design here has the door after the sink area. This closes off only the toilet and the shower from the other room. It might not seem like that big of a deal, but if you have kids you know how difficult it is to get them to bed at night and get them up in the morning. Every night at bed time the excuses start flowing. Come tuck us in, I need water, I have to go to the bathroom, not to mention that they have to brush their teeth and take a shower. At least now while one person is taking a shower the other can still brush their teeth. Whether it is at bed time or getting ready for school in the morning, moving the door to the other side of the sink you have saved everyone a hassle. It is the attention to detail in the design and features that make this pne of the great luxury homes in Arizona.

The last section of the house is the master bedroom. It is a very nice size, exactly what you would expect out of a luxury home. It isn't so large that it feels empty, but it is large enough that you can put whatever furniture in the room you want and it won't feel crowded. The master bathroom is also nicely sized. Compared to the rest of the house the master bathroom is a bit small, but it is still quite large in comparison to most homes. Another trend lately in home building is to place the walk in closet so that you must walk from the bedroom through bathroom to reach it. Some people may like this feature, but personally I don't. The closet in this home is in between the bedroom and the bathroom on one side of a hallway. There is plenty of room for everyone's clothes and even your wife's shoe collection.

If I was a movie critic I would rate this home with 5 stars. This Lennar development represents fantastic luxury homes in Arizona. I know you probably don't think "Peoria" when you are thinking about luxury homes in Arizona, but this development might just change your mind.

Visit the Contact Us page if you would like to go visit this model. (I'll take any excuse I can to go see these again!)
