Columbia Communities has been in business for about 50 years. If you are going to buy a new home I would say it is important to work with someone that has a lot of history in the Phoenix area. This should give you a comfort level that the builder will build a quality home and complete it on time.

They have created and developed the award winning Positano at Scottsdale Country Club, Los Vientos at Grayhawk and Las Piedras at Sevano Village. I believe they even have a development at DC Ranch.

The most interesting thing in my opinion about this Peoria Arizona new home builder is that they strive to build extremely energy efficient homes. They have taken part in the Department of Energy's Builder's Challenge. Feel free to read about it if you want, but basically the homes they build must perform extremely energy efficient. So if you are looking for an energy efficient home or a "green" home builder, you should definitely check out their newest (and currently only) development Riverstone Estates. It just happens to be in Peoria, Arizona.
